Long Version Sales Copy:
REVAMP Your Health uses a six-step easy-to-understand approach to teach readers how to grow stronger, live healthier, become both physically and mentally fit, build confidence, and boost overall total body wellness. REVAMP isn’t just about eating good food–it’s about knowing what food and how much of that food works best for YOU. REVAMP isn’t just about telling readers to exercise–it’s about teaching what methods of exercise are most efficient for helping readers reach their individual goals. And REVAMP isn’t just another “diet book” of false promises that work for everyone–it’s a proven method of wellness that teaches the reader how to create his or her own unique journey of better health.
What’s so special about REVAMP?
Often times we know the difference between “good” and “bad” foods, but we don’t understand that it’s ok–and possible–to eat a happy healthy balance of all foods while still making progress towards reaching our goals. And sometimes we exercise too much or lift too little without really understanding what our bodies need to do to make the physical changes that we want to see. We know we don’t always drink enough water, but we fail to realize how devastating a lack of just a 2% in hydration can be for our health. We miss out on sleep and wake up without the drive to do our best, we crave donuts under stress, and we end up feeling like failures. We much too often end quitting our plans because our plans are too tough and we are unforgiving of ourselves. We fail to see that this same failure is teaching us about our strengths and our weaknesses, our bodies, and our minds.
Often times we think we know what we need to do, but we lack the application tools to finish the project. Sometimes, we fail to see that we are the project, and we are always changing, always growing. Health is a lifelong journey, and the more persistent we are to apply the right tools and methods at the right times, the stronger, fitter, more energetic, less stressed, and happier we become. Long Version
Stephanie Walker is a food and fitness obsessed mother and wife who has turned her own life around–both her career and her own health–through learning about nutrition, exercise, and all that encompass physical, mental, and emotional health.
“For me, losing weight, discovering how to make the right food choices, and learning how to exercise properly has taken me on a years-long journey of experimentation, trials, success, and even failure. That’s what I feel separates me from many others–my desire to learn and grow as a person and to share my knowledge with others. This is what drives my passion to write.”
Stephanie is the co-founder of strongfigure.com, blueriverhealthandwellness.com, and is the author of REVAMP Your Health and co-author of The Total Health and Fitness Makeover. REVAMP Your Health, is about her way of teaching you exactly what to do (and not to do) to become the fittest version of yourself possible.
Since Stephanie started her journey, she has lost 50+ pounds, and she has received over 10 fitness certifications including her favorites: kettlebell training, CrossFit training, Strongman training, and personal training. Stephanie has also become a certified health coach and a sports nutritionist who is proud to have found her place in the fitness and nutrition industry.
“Feeling fit, well, healthy, and strong can’t even compare to feeling weak, fragile, bloated, and ill. It’s my mission to show people that being healthy isn’t tough, exercise can be fun, strong is sexy, and disease can be beaten. A healthy body builds confidence, and an active life, is a longer life. Don’t we owe this to ourselves? Our families?
Stephanie’s proudest accomplishment (besides her beautiful family) is the change she has made in her life, and this is what has inspired her two books, REVAMP Your Health, and The Total Health and Fitness Makeover. When she’s not writing about health or spending time with her family, she can be found coaching CrossFit and bootcamp classes, lifting heavy weights, and figuring out how to eat fun foods in a healthy way.
Stephanie met her husband, Erik, when she was trying how to learn to be a healthier, and he not only helped her learn about the process, but he is the one who encouraged her to pursue her dreams of helping others learn the same. Now they have a beautiful daughter whom they adore. “She is my new motivation and I want her to grow up a healthy little girl with the best role model mom that I can be.”
After having my beautiful baby girl, I couldn’t imagine a life plagued by illness and doctor visits. I want her to see a healthy, happy mom who doesn’t focus on numbers on a scale, who eats real food, and loves feeling strong. I want her to grow up knowing she can eat great foods and that strong is fit. If I can do this for her, I can do this for others.” (491 words)
